Aswini Dutt's 'Tokra' to Ravi Teja


 
Aswini Dutt may be one of the senior most producers in Tollywood but he is infamous in film circles for his miser attitude. He is known for not paying the artists and technicians of his movies and the latest addition to his list is Ravi Teja. The actor was not paid his remuneration for Sarocharu. It was told for this reason, the actor refused to attend the audio function of the movie and the makers had to release the music album directly in to market.

On the other side, Sarocharu is gearing up for release on December 21st. Parasuram is directing the film and this is his second film with Ravi Teja after Anjaneyulu. Salman to groove in 'Gangnam style'


Bollywood star Salman Khan, known for setting new dance trends, will groove in South Korean rapper Psy's hit single "Gangnam style" complete with its moves at a forthcoming awards function.

IT act should not be used without higher approval: Sibal


The government is planning to send advisories to state governments to ensure that arrests under the IT Act should not be made without approval from higher authorities, Information Technology Minister Kapil Sibal said here Friday.

"We will soon be sending advisories to state government that inspector, or sub-inspector level officers should not use section 66(A) of the IT act without any order from senior level officers," Sibal said replying supplementaries during question hour in the Rajya Sabha.

The section 66(A) of IT Act has provision for punishment for sending offensive messages via electronic mail that is "grossly offensive or is menacing", "any false information causing annoyance, insult, danger", "causing inconvenience", and "deceiving or misleading recipient"... AndhraReporter

Telecom sector problems coming to an end: PM


Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday said the problems facing India's troubled telecom sector are nearing a solution and the new policy being brought in would address concerns of worrying investors, providing a new impetus for growth of the communications industry.

We won't tolerate, if they prove guilty - Naidu


Telugu Desam supremo and former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he was deeply pained by the action of three party MPs who abstained from voting in Rajya Sabha on resolution against the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in retail trade in the country.

Speaking at a public meeting during his Vastunna Meekosam padayatra, Chandrababu said one of the MPs, Devender Goud gave him prior information that he would not be able to attend the voting due to indisposition.

He said another MP Sujana Choudhary gave in writing that he could not attend the voting due to indisposition and sought pardon. He said he was making inquiries into the circumstances that led to abstention from voting by the MPs.
